Courses
Dutch - Presenting efficiently
TutorLecturer to be announced
Target group and entry requirements
Anybody interested in different aspects of oral communication. Minimum requirement: a secondary school diploma.
Aims and course content
Presenting a survey, giving a speech to colleagues or making a presentation to peers: each of these forms of presentation requires a good command of presentation skills. After all, a successful presentation depends as much on the way the message is conveyed as on the content. In this practical training course, all aspects of presentation skills will be covered. Important activities will include structuring the presentation, verbal and non-verbal communication, entertaining the audience, conquering fear of public speaking, and using PowerPoint.
Participants will get multiple opportunities to practise by giving presentations that will be videotaped and critically analysed. At the end of the sessions participants will have gained a better insight into their own presentation style.
